The Paddle for Everyone Association (Aspado), organizes again in the Leonese town of Cubillos del Sil, the V National Wheelchair Adapted Paddle Tournament, considered the best championship in Spain in this modality.

From June 12 to 15, you will be able to enjoy, in the municipal sports facilities of Cubillos del Sil, the show of the best wheelchair paddle tennis in the national territory.

This tournament aims to consolidate itself as a benchmark after the success of the last edition, not only because of its high level of competition but also because of its organizational level, being one of the few tournaments in Spain in which participants do not have to travel from their accommodation in El Bosque de the Sueños-Aspaym to the playing courts and in which they will enjoy an active coexistence throughout the weekend, completing the competition with recreational events in the area.

The championship, which is sponsored by the Junta de Castilla y León, the Cubillos del Sil City Council, the Obra Social de La Caixa and the Mapfre Foundation, has established itself as a reference in the national calendar of adapted sport in general and wheelchair sport in particular, being an example of social integration.

The V National Adapted Paddle Tournament, which will bring together the 16 best wheelchair paddle tennis couples in Spain, is organized by Aspado, a non-profit entity declared of National Public Utility that works for the integration of people with disabilities since 2004, with the collaboration of the Higher Sports Council, Aspaym, El Bosque de los Sueños, Varlion, Onda Cero, Pádel Deluxe and Solan de Cabras.

Parallel to this event and in collaboration with the Club Padel Indoor Ponferrada, an Amateur Padel tournament will be held on the same dates, for charitable purposes, which will culminate in being intertwined with the chair tournament and which will bring more experiences and notoriety to the main event.
