ASPADO organized a new open day, this time in the Canary Islands, within the framework of the “Ciudad de Santa Lucía International Open” tournament of the World Padel Tour circuit, which had a large number of participants who were able to share a few minutes with the best professional players.
The activity had a great impact on the island and the Minister of Social Policy and coordinator of the Accessible Gran Canaria project, José Miguel Álamo, was present.
This is the first step towards the creation of the Aspado School in Gran Canaria, a project that also has the support of the Municipal Sports Institute of the Las Palmas City Council, through Paco Sánchez Jover.
Monitors specializing in the teaching of this sport, who have previously obtained the title that accredits them for it and that is granted by the association itself, were in charge of carrying out the practical demonstrations with the participants.
